Katie currently lives in Charlotte, NC with her favorite humans and rescue pups. She holds a bachelors degree in Fine Art from North Park University (Chicago, IL) and also holds a Certified Nonprofit Professional (CNP) credential in partnership with the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance.

Katie has passionately dedicated her professional time since 2012 to the children and families of small hands big art. She has a passion for innovating unique art projects and curriculum programs for students ages 18 months – adults. Katie coaches and mentors other studio owners and teachers on the vision, brand, styling, and process of art education within a Small Hands Big Art studio.
